this is just me, experimenting with blogs, as i have pretty much no experience with creating any.

PICNIC today. the last time i will have seen chari till december :( so many people are going back to the haoleland so soon. sigh...
hm. just resting and organizing at home. i can't wait to go surfing! :) in like half an hour. pure bliss.
i'm very happy to have peace of mind and clarity.
relationship with God = good :)
relationship with family = above average (for us)
relationship with boyfriend = sweet
and i have the greatest, prettiest, most talented, quirkiest friends i could ever have hoped for. God has blessed me so much.
tomorrow:
daytime - all work
nighttime- kiwami + dessert + bowling with more lovely friends
when i was driving home, i felt another wave of happiness. every time i'm driving or walking around kaimuki, i can't help but smile. it's such a cute small town feel within a big city. i love the geography of hawaii...it's so hilly and mountaneous; and of course the beaches are a plus.
i couldn't be happier that i finally feel like i'm taking full advantage of living in hawaii. the past hikes i've been on this summer were incredible, and even though i've been surfing less, i'm still satisfied with the fact that i know how to surf (although i'm still at beginner level).
hikes i've been on so far this summer:
-diamond head
-maunawili falls
-koko head crater
-ka'au crater (palolo)
-pillboxes (kailua)
-stairway to heaven
-manana/waimano falls
-the heiau in pupukea (not really a hike, but my first time!)
hiking to do list:
-tantalus/manoa area
-stairway to heaven a couple more times
-kuliouou
-laie falls
-aiea area...
there are probably a lot more waterfalls in oahu than most people know. manana falls was amazing. such a secret spot! i can't wait to go again on saturday.
